Life-long Learning and Cognition: Understanding the Procrastination Process at the Cognitive Level

The first step to curbing procrastination is to understand the deep cognitive processes that facilitate the procrastination event.  After all, one of the most important steps of the change process is to recognize that there is something that you want to change. There are processes that sometimes happen beneath our level of consciousness that fuel our behavior, and it's very important to understand the mechanics of such process.
